MIK Hotel Valbona

Facilities were comfortable and clean. Location was perfect for exploring the area and away from the more tourist centric area. Staff was not only professional and efficient but also friendly and very informative on the area, culture, history, and added significant value to the overall experience. Food was amazing, fresh, and local. I will return to this hotel.

The room was good, there was enough space for clothes and personal belongings. The things I didn't like were: the network was not good, the air conditioner didn't work, I couldn't adjust the water in the bathroom, it was cold as soon as it was hot or vice versa. Then the staff was very very good, they were warm in hospitality, they didn't hesitate and they were very sweet.

When you hike from Theth to Valbonë and with the intention to go to Çerem, this is the ideal place! Room with airco, very big and with a personal terrace. The people working there were super friendly. We received free cake with our beer, and the dinner was amazing! They spoiled us with the typical Albanian dinner (call it banquet). Also the breakfast was superb. Pancakes, bread, vegetables, fruit,…. Everything was present! And to end, they didn’t have a “take-away” lunch, but prepared it especially for us. A very nice experience, and I fully recommend this hotel!
