The Railway Inn

We've finally found a good Sunday lunch! (Just went for lunch, so can't comment on rooms) Well done The Railway Inn. We ate a comprehensive roast turkey dinner, with pigs in blankets, crispy roasties, a huge Yorkshire Pudding & a whole dish of veg. Also very good cauliflower cheese. All served quickly too & at a very good price. Absolutely no room for pudding...Will just have to return!!

Me, my husband and a group of friends went to The Railway Inn for the Seniors Christmas lunch on 1st December. I believe we were their first Christmas lunch visitors. I must say, from the moment we entered we were treated like royalty. I wish I had caught the name of the lovely young man who greeted us, he was a star throughout our visit, as were the waitresses. The meal itself was delicious and the dessert too. The best christmas meal I have had ever in a restaurant. Congratulations to the chef and the wonderful staff.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Phil, Donna, and all the staff for such an amazing Christmas Day dinner. Everything was absolutely perfect the food was delicious, beautifully cooked, and the atmosphere was lovely. You all worked so hard and truly made our Christmas Day special.
