Very friendly staff, comfortable beds although I'm maybe a bit old for bunk beds. Very clean. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. My husband had been feeling unwell and didn't manage to eat his dinner and was asked if there was anything wrong with the food, so also excellent customer care. 5 star all the way although if you've had enough walking for the day I'd advise requesting a lift as it's all uphill from Inversnaid Hotel. I believe you just call and someone will come and collect you

Based on the good reviews, I chose the Bunkhouse in Inversnaid as my campsite and was not disappointed! When I arrived at the hotel down by the lake in the evening, I phoned to see if there was still a pitch available for me on the grass. 15 minutes later I was picked up by car and driven up. The sanitary facilities were clean and the showers were hot - perfect after a long day of hiking on the West Highland Way. There is also a heated drying room where I hung up some hand-washed clothes that were dry the next morning. The food was great too. I had to think about the Cacio e Pepe linguine many times on the way to Fort William... All in all, I can only recommend this accommodation!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An exceptional place with heart I originally planned to stay just one night at the Inversnaid Bunkhouse. But when my dog was injured, we ended up staying for an entire week – and looking back, it truly felt like a blessing in disguise. The whole team here is outstanding: incredibly friendly, genuinely helpful, and wonderfully attentive. I’ve stayed at many hotels, hostels, and campsites, but the Inversnaid Bunkhouse is now right at the very top of my list. The atmosphere is unique: in the bistro you can enjoy delicious food prepared with real care, and it’s the perfect place to connect with fellow travelers, most of them hikers from all around the world. This open, warm and welcoming spirit makes the stay truly special. Although I wasn’t able to finish the West Highland Way this time, one thing is certain: next year I will start again from here – and I’m already looking forward to it. A place full of hospitality, warmth, and joy. Wholeheartedly recommended!
