Absolutely loved every aspect of the hostel. The cottage vibes made me want to stay there forever. The owner is lovely and prepares everything so you can check in on your own whenever you want. The kitchen and living room are cozy and you can cook there. The dorms are simple but clean and lovely. The amazing Blind Piper pub is just around the corner. Will come back

I spent one evening at the Kerry Way Rest Hostel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a beautiful area along the Wild Atlantic Way, where I was traveling. The hostel itself is a charming old home that has been welcoming travelers for generations. Olivia, who currently runs the hostel, is by far the kindest and most welcoming person I’ve met in all of Ireland. Just down the road, there’s a cozy little pub called the Blind Piper, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The area also boasts several fascinating heritage sites worth visiting. I can’t praise Olivia and my stay at the Kerry Way Rest Hostel enough—thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Very cute little hostel in an old house. It doesn't feel like a hostel, more like an old Lady's home. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable rates; good fully equipped kitchen. Free oats and instant coffee. Note: no shop nor ATM in Caherdaniel, the pub only serves food till 8pm. Nearest shop with basic goods at Castlecove, nearest supermarkets in Waterville or Sneem.
