Auberge de la Baie - Hôtel Mont Saint-Michel

Showers don’t drain. Gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful while the lady was absolutely not. The restaurants they mention (3km away)are only open for two hours and you need to make reservations well before your stay. If you don’t have a car don’t bother. Just make it a day trip from Rennes because it’s not worth staying locally. The whole place smelled like manure. Dinan is a much better experience.

We absolutely loved this place. Old stone building with modern rooms. Check in was a breeze. Very polite and helpful staff. I felt the price was a great value. The view of Mont Saint-Michel from the hotel is amazing. We walked from the hotel across the road, into the sheep pasture all the way to the Mont. It was approximately 1.5 miles? At 7am the local Shepard herded several hundred sheep down the street right past our window. Apparently this happens every morning and evening. Staying here and experiencing all of this was a highlight of our trip.

Would recommend. Lovely stay here. Rooms are spacious enough for 2 adults, baby and a dog. Lovely to see the sheep in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Will come back if visiting MSM again
