Hotel IL Palazzo

We loved staying here. Great quality for the price, that's where the 5-stars come it. It was super close to the Cathedral. The room was very spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed. My favorite thing about our room was that it was free of excess furniture. It had a airy open feel, the big window was a plus. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The staff was helpful, especially Julian who went out of his way to make a reservation for us and check in on how we were doing.

This is a nice place to stay. Good breakfast, just down the road from the basilica of St Francis, quiet at night.

Pros: Clean, large rooms in great location, stunning view from Juliette balcony. Great value for price! Great dinner recommendation, staff were lovely. Great bathroom with large shower with great water pressure. Cons: We found the bed/pillows very uncomfortable (extra firm). No A/C before June 1st meant the room was hot even with door open at night. Loud ?concert outside could be heard until midnight, even with door/window closed. Overall, there was a lot to love! Would come back if A/C could be used (or if there was a fan even) and if beds were more comfortable!
