Nice room with a romantic touch and a view on the beautiful well kept garden. We had an abundant Scottish breakfast. Derek was an attentive host. Recommended!

A friend I and I traveled around Scotland for a few weeks and ended up here. Really lovely home with a bathroom in each room. A wonderful, friendly host who asked for our meal order every day for breakfast and made dinner available if we wanted it also. Top notch cook. I would come back if I could. Loved my visit here.

We had booked a twin room which should have 2 beds when we arrived it was as if they weren’t aware we were staying there. We arrived at 8am on Tuesday and our room wasn’t ready which really is very poor they said they had been busy but no one else was staying there?. We had to wait until 11 for our room to be ready. The first room was a double bed it was ok not the best we stayed there until Thursday we then got moved into a twin room Though they moved all our luggage without asking which isn’t acceptable. So after that we thought it couldn’t get worse right? Wrong ! The twin room had damp patches and the beds were broke held together by a sheet of wood the bath room was barely big enough to turn around in and it took me about 10 minutes to work out how to get in to the shower! The rooms were very cold. Just all round let down and terrible experience. The only good thing was the black pudding! Wouldn’t recommend it !
