YHA Langdale

Went here for a singing weekend, which was great fun. This is a building that has been upgraded with good quality washrooms and toilets. The beds are comfortable. There is a log burner in the main hall. Could do with some low-glow lamps in the bedrooms for when you get up in the night to go to the loo.

At first it seams like a lovely place to come to but when you come you realise you can't get up the narrow road especially with a large coach if you're in a large group and the rooms that are shown on the photos aren't actually the ones you get put in, you get put in a room with no lock for privacy not able to open the windows uncomfortable mattress with bed bugs and not to mention the laziness with the build quality there is literally a massive hole in the ceiling for the fire alarm and there's also other chunks of the ceiling missing. The shop is rather expensive like 2 pounds for a small chocolate bar and not to mention the awful food and unhygienic sticky tables in the dining hall. DONT COME HERE!!!!

Amazing! Service and pricing was great! However the pool table and many of the boardgames were broken or missing pieces, but other than that it was great! Friendly environment and great spot to stay while hiking!
