To stay here was the best choice. Very unique place to stay. Mostly because of the owner. The mountains are his home, hicking since childhood, can give you best advice where to go. Drove us to the beginning of the trails. He's passionate cook, so make sure to try his amazing cooked food from his own grown vegetables. Speaks English very well, we had a chance to know more about Albania, mountains, local life and just nice conversations. The house itself is built traditionally by him. Not only looking beautiful itself, but also surrounded from both sides by huge, steep mountains. Rooms are very clean, nice view from the window, comfortable bed.

We spent two unforgettable days at Stone House in Valbonë with our family, and we were welcomed with the highest level of hospitality. The experience was truly exceptional. A special thanks goes to Mr. Ademi, who enriched our stay with fascinating stories about Valbonë, from the village's history and natural beauty to the unique traditions and warm hospitality of the Tropoja region. His passion and kindness made a big impact on our experience. The hotel was spotless, with spacious and comfortable beds that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The bathrooms were modern and very well equipped. One of the biggest highlights was the complete tranquility, it’s the perfect place to disconnect and relax. The included breakfast was another pleasant surprise, everything was homemade and organic: fresh butter, the best pancakes we’ve ever had, local honey, and fresh milk. It was all incredibly delicious and authentic. We also really appreciated that our toy poodle was warmly welcomed, that meant a lot to us as a family. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience true Albanian hospitality in one of the most breathtaking areas of the country!
