Beautiful location near Switzerland and the Rhine at the foot of the Black Forest. New, spacious room with a large shower. The main reason for staying, however, is the excellent restaurant. Very good food, lovely atmosphere, and friendly service. A truly memorable short break!

A nice hotel in a small village. Not very large, but a very nice room with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom with an excellent shower. Entering the hotel is a bit strange, as the rear entrance isn't very inviting. You'll receive your room number and the code you need to access the room in advance. The bathroom is very practical. The bed is a box spring with a higher entry. Dinner is quite limited in choice but well-prepared. The waitresses are friendly and very helpful. Ample parking is available at the hotel itself. The quiet of the village at night is wonderful. Breakfast was good, not extensive, but sufficient.

The hotel is located in a very stylishly renovated country inn. The rooms are very spacious and furnished with carefully selected antique furniture and first-class box-spring mattresses. The same building houses the 89ers restaurant, also run by hotelier Stefan Jung, whose fine and sophisticated cuisine we thoroughly enjoyed every evening of our stay. Buch is a small village, so naturally, there isn't much going on. It's about 4 kilometers from there down into the Rhine Valley and thus to the Swiss border.
