Hotel Castello

An amazing mountain refuge with breathtaking views of the Dolomites. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, the food is delicious, and the staff are very welcoming. A perfect stop after a hike or for anyone looking to experience true alpine hospitality in a stunning natural setting.

This place has long lost its former glory. The property is old and has not been renovated for years, which is evident in both the interiors and the overall atmosphere, which feels rather depressing. The biggest issue, however, is cleanliness. The rooms and bathrooms are not properly cleaned—there are visible stains on the walls and in the shower cabin, and mold can be seen on the walls in the room as well as on the bathroom ceiling. The overall level of hygiene is far from acceptable. The furnishings are neglected, and the TV remote is sticky and dirty. In the restaurant, portions are very small, the waiting time for food is long, and the quality of the ingredients is mediocre. Overall, my stay here was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this place.

Great restaurant! Best octopus I had maybe ever. Risotto was very good too. Service could probably be more attentive, but they came when I called so all good.
