Seecamping Wimmer

Absolutely amazing place with plenty things to do for the children... friendly and helpful staff. Right by the lake, where you can either go paddling on your craft or hire different boats and paddle boards. Entry to one of the beaches is €14 for a family of 4 (untill 5p.m after that is free) giving you access to the shallow end of the lake, playground with different things to to, including a leisure centre with an indoor pool.(extra cost)

Ok campsite good for a stop over or exploring the area. Can be a little noisy with the road so close by. Was quite expensive with the added cost of paying for hot water and then another charge of 3 euros for rubbish when checking out. Which also seems excessive for the 18 hours we were actually on-site. Wasn’t clear at the start nor at the end. The ground is a little hard for tent pegs also and I lost one (couldn’t remove and god did I try!) and bent a few. Restaurant was good and enjoyable.

Such a fantastic campsite! It’s our second year coming here and we just love it. Super clean toilets and showers, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. There’s also so much to see and do around Achensee.
