Rustic Inn - Koba's Sakhli

The host was extremely helpful. She arranged several tours for us, and provided a lot of practical help. She was always available to address any question or concern. The place is 5 km outside the city center, so take that into account if you don't have rental car. Beds were not so comfortable and the shower did not operate very smoothly, but if you accept this as part of rural life in Georgia, this place is for you! We booked breakfast and dinner every day (additional price), and we really really liked it

Exceptional hospitality and warmth of the Tsipiani family made our holiday a really special time. Ingredients for the delicious food served there are locally grown and the milk for tasty traditional cheese comes from their very own cows. The chauffeur services they offer are worth of recommendations as Koba drives more gently and reasonable than most of the local drivers.

Beware false hospitality. Tried to change the prices and charge for services they'd told us were free (such as a ride to the center of town). The rooms are ice cold at night so get ready to wake up several times at night to make sure the fire is going. It can be fun for a little while, at least until you run out of firewood. This place is located far away from the town. There is no bus. There is literally nothing within walking distance, no shops, no bars, no restaurants, not even other houses, so bring whatever food and supplies you need with you. Otherwise you'll be walking for more than an hour on the main highway to reach the village. The surrounding area is beautiful and rustic, just know what you're getting yourself into before you arrive.
