We found this little Gem on booking, com Wow we were blown away by Julian and Gregs hospitality, we had the Miami and New York rooms, from the moment you walk you know this is a special place of warmth and detail of someones home welcoming you in. We dinned in the restaurant, meals were 5 star and ive eaten in many world class restaurant, great value and excellent recommendation on the wine Julian. Ths really is class. We loved the Begals wondering around so sweet. Only down was a family of five in the lounge making to much fuss about the Bagael babies and rude tongue to the hosts. Keep up the good work and we hope to see you again soon. Bought the boat so you will be seeing more of us. Warm wishes Leese family

So we arrived at "la Maison" from the GR34, after hitting a dead end in a swamp, and we were literally mud up to the knees. As we passed the door we discovered this sweet and elegant nest that feels more like a 4 or at least 3 stars hotel than the 2 rated . Our though: oh my gosh we are going to ruin there place should we really enter? Well.. We were warmly welcome as any regular customer, not a stare or a comment and in my experience such professionalism is pretty rare in France. This "lieu" is run by two kind gentlemen and there Maison and is kind of an odd one out as you don't expect to find a little gem like this "here". It only makes me regret not to have known before hand and tried there restaurant. I would advise you to take your breakfast there as it's fairly priced and generous. As far as the room are concerned, they are less sophisticated than the lobby more in ad-equation with the 2* rating of the hotel, i.e fair with a light touch of originality and taste in there decoration. La Maison double as a wine bar, they also offer a few cocktails, Should I be picky, I would say that they should step up there game on the cocktail side to be more on pair with the rest. Merci. Dog welcome / and there own dog is the sweetest !

Excellent meal in a comfortable 'home-like' setting with great pricing. I've attached a picture of the menu on the night we dined there. Pierre, the host and co-owner, runs the front of the house like a real host, making sure everyone is taken care of. The food was simple in description but complex in flavours. The photos don't do the food any justice. PS the ice cream was a HUGE hit to end the meal.
