Hôtel Restaurant Boule de Neige

Delightful boutique traditional hotel right on the slopes of Gourette. Our family has stayed here several times and we are never disappointed with its cosy feel and sheer convenience.

After three nights of wild camping on the GR10 hiking trail, the Boule de Neige was such a welcome stay. The welcome was very warm (English spoken) and the room had all I needed to rest and recharge. They do a half board hiker package in the summer, which is a great deal, and they offered me a sandwich packed lunch. Dinner was good and breakfast was great. The staff were all so friendly and helpful they really made my brief stay a huge pleasure. Definitely recommended for hikers, and I suspect skiers as well!

What a find! Very warm welcome by the owners. Rooms are very 'ski themed' but clean and spacious with a separate desk area. Beds are great with pillows with different firmness. The restaurant serves excellent food with quite the variety. For GR10-ists they have breakfast starting at 06. Even the people who wild camp in front of the hotel are allowed to take a shower. In summary: I can only recommend it this family owned hotel!
