Resort La Rocchetta

After a long, hot stage of the Via Francigena, when our feet ached and we were ready to collapse, La Rocchetta felt like a true refuge. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and kindness that lifted our spirits. The property is peaceful and surrounded by trees, offering a quiet place to rest after a demanding day. Our room was spotless, cool, and comfortable, with everything we needed to recover. Breakfast the next morning was generous and delicious, and the staff helped with our luggage transfers and travel details without hesitation. We were deeply grateful for the hospitality and care we received. La Rocchetta provided the rest and comfort every pilgrim hopes for at the end of a long day. Highly recommended to anyone walking the Via Francigena or visiting the area.

It’s a Home away from Home Situated in a very good location but, alas, far from noisy traffic this place is a hidden gem. Family run, offers elegant and cosy rooms as well as a delicious breakfast and very attentive staff. When in Rome, especially with the car, it’s the perfect place to stay as it has a big parking area too.

The La Rocchetta Resort was an Oasis for my husband and I after walking on the Via Francigena from Montefiascone over 5 days. A lovely Hotel, we had a large double room with everything we could need overlooking the front. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Thank you La Rocchetta for a lovely stay.
