We rented the house for the first week of September, although instead of checking out on Sunday, we had to leave on Saturday. Due to personal reasons, we needed to return earlier, but the house was paid for from Sunday to Sunday. The house is in a fantastic location, an unbeatable spot, and the area itself is great for going with dogs. It rained heavily every day, with highs/lows of 21°C/11°C. It's Asturias, so typical. But the temperatures were already dropping considerably, and the evenings and nights were quite chilly in the house. On the first day, Teresa came and greeted us very kindly. A lightbulb burned out, and she said she would bring a replacement later. Two more lightbulbs burned out in three days, including the one in the front garden, but we didn't hear anything about them for a week. On the second day, we walked to the blowholes. It was a gray day, but we thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. On the way back, we were soaked, and around 8:00 PM we asked Teresa to turn on the heating so we could warm up and dry our clothes. The response: there's no heating right now. (It's electric heating with a separate circuit just for the radiators and no access to the main electrical panel, which is locked.) Instead, I asked for firewood so we could light the wonderful fireplace in the house. They ignored the request until the next morning when they left us a basket with four logs, some scrap wood, a piece of cardboard, and a newspaper along with a message: "This one's free, but if you want more, they're €10 each." (I should mention again that we paid until Sunday, but we're leaving on Saturday.) We bought a couple of bags of barbecue charcoal, and with that and the meager amount of firewood, we managed to light the fire for the remaining three nights, keeping a comfortable temperature during the rainy and cold nights. Right at the entrance, there's a sign reminding guests of the regulations regarding indoor temperatures and the establishment's obligation to provide the means for a pleasant and environmentally friendly stay. It's a shame to have to write this review. The house, the garden, and the surroundings are wonderful, but you need to be more attentive to your guests. Money is easy to take, but you have to be on top of any problems that arise during their stay.

He won't let you book until after the holidays. You write to him the first day after the holidays and he tells you he's already booked it. He's not very serious... he's lost a regular customer.
