The perfect place to relax after a long day on via transilvanica. The hosts are great, the rooms are big and clean. They also served us dinner and breakfast which were both incredibly tasty. Both hosts love the mountain and they have a lot of great stories to tell you. I totally recommend passing by if you have the chance.

I highly recommend this place. We stopped here during our Via Transilvanica walk. The owners are very friendly and kind. They also make great coffee 😁 Room is comfortable, kitchen is beautiful and well equipped (although you should come prepared as there is no well stocked shop in this village) Love the garden ❤️

What a wonderful experience! Sorin and his family are the most gracious hosts. We were treated graciously online, and even more warmly when we arrived. These are exceptionally kind people. The property itself is beautiful. It’s located a short 150m walk off 17A - the main road out of town - and provides a great stopping place for anyone walking the Via Transilvanica (*Note: it’s 3 km past the monastery but Sorin will pick you up there if you are tired after your walk from Putna). Our room was cozy, with strong wifi and a nice bathroom and shower. One huge bonus is having a great food truck concept spot (Tochitruck) immediately beside the pension. Julien (Sorin’s son) makes incredible Bukovina food - and superb coffee - for a great price, with both dinner and breakfast available. Highly recommended.
