The Manor House

Louise and I spent a residential weekend here on the Beginners Retreat. We were really impressed with our ensuite room which was spacious and comfortable. Throughout the weekend, the food was plentiful and excellent with Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner, and with coffee and cakes mid morning and mid afternoon. The Retreat itself was wonderful with lovely sessions on different ways of praying and time to pray and meditate in the prayer room or in the lovely grounds. The staff were helpful and attentive. Altogether a lovely and relaxing weekend.

I had a wonderful time at a Beginners' Retreat at Thie dy Vea. The experience was a wonderful boost to my spiritual development, and very affirmative. Food for thought indeed. The team were very welcoming and looked after us very well - I truly felt part of the family! Strongly recommend...

Our group of 4 recently stayed five nights at Thie Dy Vea whilst tackling the Triskelion Way pilgrimage trail across the island. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and this set the pattern of superb hospitality for the whole stay. The team bent over backwards to accommodate our early starts and special dietary requirements. There is an ambience of graceful spirituality at Thie Dy Vea and we used their chapel in the 'apothecary' for our prayers centred on Celtic Christianity. I thoroughly recommend Thie Dy Vea and we very much hope to repeat our stay there next year. Phil Craine
