Great accommodation run by a great couple. I take my hat off to the family who run the accommodation. You come as a stranger and leave as friends. Definitely will be back, and you can understand why many who visit return. Its the owners who really make your stay. Accommodation with a traditional feel, steeped in history. and the views of the surrounding area are breathtaking no matter the weather.

Very enjoyable stay at this remote Scottish hotel, looked after excellently by host Richard. Our double room was fairly basic, (though with everything needed) but very clean and serviced every day; not always the case these days. Continental and cooked to order breakfasts, a good range of packed lunches, and evening meals with varied menus; all very tasty. Comfy bar with draught beers, lager and cider, plus a range of bottled beverages too. Clothes drying facilities. Ideally located for fishing and walking / mountaineering. Very high level of returning customers, which is no surprise.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Perfect location, friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts, comfortable rooms. Richard and Jamie soon make you feel like part of their family with advice about the best walking routes. The bar in the evening is wonderful, full of regular hotel guests. Jamie turns out amazing bar meals. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back for many years to come.
