The hotel is centrally located. It is beautiful with lots of character and an overall mix of old and contemporary vibe. Views from the windows were gorgeous. Staff is attentive and nice. However there is only reception in the mornings up until 2:30 pm. Breakfast was good, it comes in wooden trays to your table. Coffee could be much better. The major drawback of this hotel is that it does not have air conditioning, which you would expect to find for the price one pays per night. They provide fans, but they are not enough. We could not sleep well. It took away a bit of our whole experience of the beautiful town of Valldemossa. So, in the hot summer season I do not recommend this hotel. Otherwise it would be a great choice.

Serious Safety & Accessibility Issues at Cas Papà — Avoid if You Value Your Wellbeing I stayed at Cas Papà Hotel in Valldemossa on 26th April 2025 and had a deeply distressing experience that I want to warn future guests about. The hotel has no accessibility provisions at all — only old, broken stone steps to get in and out, no elevator, and rough cobbled streets leading to it. This makes it nearly impossible or very dangerous for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage. This was never disclosed when I booked. There was no physical reception staff when I arrived, only a virtual reception via intercom. The staff member I spoke to was unprofessional, unsympathetic, and repeatedly demanded payment via WhatsApp—despite me having already paid online. It took me asking to cancel the booking for him to finally give me my room number, but even then, the information was incorrect and stressful. The room key was old and awkward to use — a serious safety hazard in an emergency. The windows had broken shutters that opened on their own in heavy rain, and the door and lock were very difficult to operate. When I tried to leave and re-enter the building, the door codes given were incorrect, causing further hassle. Despite my illness and discomfort, I paid for breakfast just to avoid confrontation and left as soon as possible. I have formally complained to management, but they have ignored me or failed to provide a meaningful response. This hotel seriously failed in duty of care, communication, and safety. I strongly urge anyone considering staying here to reconsider and to report poor standards if they encounter similar issues.

The hotel does not have free parking as advertised on their website and we were only notified the day before check in when the free cancellation period had lapsed. The reservations manager is difficult to get hold of (reception is only available for a limited time per day). The receptionist and housekeeping staff were much more pleasant. It is extremely hot in summer with no AC and poor ventilation, the rooms on the top floor are like a sauna - not worth it for the very high rate paid. Breakfast fair, coffee could be better.
