Sansepolcro, Italy
56 Via Luca Pacioli, 52037 Sansepolcro, ItalyUnassuming 19th-century hotel offering simple rooms & a roof terrace, plus breakfast.

My stay at Hotel Albergo Fiorentino in Sansepolcro was unfortunately far below expectations. The rooms are very old and simply furnished, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The toilet reservoir was open and in a truly disgusting condition, which was very unpleasant and gave a poor first impression. The bed was too soft and unstable, offering zero comfort or support. The noise from outside was especially disturbing, with street sounds clearly audible throughout the night, making it difficult to get any proper rest. The owner was kind enough to apologize and offered me a discount, so I paid €50, but even then it felt overpriced considering the overall experience. I would not recommend this hotel for a restful stay.

We also had bed bugs! This is unacceptable and you should avoid the hotel. The hotel is completely outdated, the breakfast is terrible, and the service is rude. Apparently, the owner couldn't find our reservation and therefore charged us a higher price. We stayed there over Easter 2025.
