Cartref Guest House

I stayed here for one night, travelling back through Carlisle on a work trip from Scotland and what a fantastic place to stay. Melanie is a brilliant host who clearly cares about her guests having a wonderful experience. I had the single room with en-suite and was so impressed with the comfort, cleanliness and all of the little touches, like proper coffee, fancy tea, snack tray, dressing gown, lovely toiletries, I really felt like I was staying in a luxury hotel! Breakfast was also delicious. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to be passing through again one day so I can stay again. Thanks for your amazing hospitality Melanie!

Really lovely stay here! Room was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. Would happily stay here again!

Great guest house in Carlisle Only few minutes walk to city centre Guest house is spotlessly clean and rooms are brilliant Lots of wee extras in rooms Fridge was a great thing to have in room Amazing price and it’s a country mile ahead of its competitors in the city
