Maison Farinet

Just a wonderful place! We stayed there for 5 days for ski-mountaineering. Maison Farinet is the perfect place for this. The rooms are just gorgeous, the staff lovely and the breakfast absolutely delicious and the needed fuel for a day of activity. The sun-lit balcony and the Sauna make for great afternoons. Some mountaineering tours can be started directly from the location, for others you'll need to drive for a few minutes by car. The only downside of the place is, that there is no restaurant within walking distance, so having a car is a must. But parking is fine and on the upside, the area is pure peace and calm. Recomment Maison Farinet 100%.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. The rooms are stunning, clean and very well priced. You are nestled in amongst the mountains with the Italian ski lifts 30 minutes in one direction, and the Swiss 30 minutes in the other. What makes this place so wonderful is the care you receive from the owners - they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and we left wanting for nothing. We were tempted to book for another few nights and just stay to enjoy the comfort of the room a while longer! If you stay here - book the room with a private sauna, it’s worth every penny. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately we arrived late and left early in the morning. This place is absolutely stunning. Very clean, tastefully decorated and modern, featuring several amenities (4* level) and great views. Great breakfast offering. We particularly appreciated the local products (even soaps/shampoos), the warm welcome and local tips. Thank you and we will be back!
