Roeys Retreat Campsite

Stayed a night in the bell tent. Very nice, everything you could need. The site was lovely, very clean toilets and shower. Useful honesty shop and washing up area. The only issue we had was the cooking area was outside on the decking. Typically it was raining most of our time there so unable to cook anything. There is a toaster in the tent though and a microwave in the shop to use. Small fridge and kettle in the tent. The owner was v friendly and the site is nice but the main road can be noisy. Everywhere has some cons but I would still return and would recommend. Perfectly situated for Clovelly village, westward ho etc.

We must have driven past this place 100 times - hidden gem! A lovely little family friendly site. We stayed for 5 nights in our caravan. All the facilities you need, plus a few more! 5* wood fired pizza 🍕 fresh free range eggs 🍳 made for excellent breakfasts! Great spot for getting to north Cornwall and Devon. Yes you can hear a bit of traffic on the main road, but it’s not the end of the world. We found it really peaceful and the swing set that you can see from most of the site was perfect for the kids!

Wonderful friendly small campsite. With wood fired pizza, fresh eggs from their free range chickens. A small shop for essentials. Nice area to chill our. Excellent facilities. Clean well kept site. Hook ups available or ideal for back packing. Not farm from the coast path.
