Beau-Rivage Palace

Location: The Hotel Beau-Rivage Palace is located directly on the lakeshore, offering stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Lausanne’s old town is easily accessible by metro or taxi. Service: The service was somewhat inconsistent. My luggage, which I had dropped off before arrival, was not in the room when I arrived. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and did an excellent job cleaning the rooms. However, housekeeping service was quite late, with rooms often cleaned only after 3 pm. Turn-down service was irregular (sometimes with chocolate, sometimes without). The reception staff were friendly; however, the wait at reception was quite long, with a total check-in time of around 30 minutes. Service in the lobby was slow, and there were mistakes. For instance, after a long wait the salad dressing arrived only once I had already eaten the salad. Seating arrangements were also inflexible. Food & Drinks: The food was very good. Unfortunately, the bar was closed during my stay, which is disappointing for a five-star hotel. The breakfast selection is excellent and offers everything needed for a great start to the day. Rooms: The rooms are very nice. Rooms facing the lake offer wonderful views. The bathrooms are well equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. Facilities: The spa is pleasant. The sauna and steam room are rather small but still nice. The garden is beautiful, and the building itself is very impressive. Summary: A beautiful hotel in an excellent location, though the service is somewhat inconsistent.

The Beau-Rivage Hotel was the highlight of my very first trip to Switzerland. It was everything I imagined for my first Swiss getaway and more. I was incredibly lucky to be upgraded to a suite with a balcony view that was pure magic. It was, hands down, the most beautiful room I’ve ever stayed in. ​This hotel made my trip truly unforgettable, leaving me with memories I’ll treasure forever. A huge thank you to the wonderful team for their hospitality. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"

On the occasion of the graduation of our son we spent a night at the Beau-Rivage Palace. In addition to the milestone achieved it was an unforgettable time and stay at your hotel. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the service "impeccable" and the lake- and mountain view breathtaking. The celebration at the Restaurant "PIC" was the peak of our stay. Thank you very much for making the celebration of my son's graduation so incredibly special and unforgettable. We are very much looking forward to being your guests again in hopefully not too far a distance.
