Staff of the hotel were good and soft spoken. In reception and breakfast we had english spoken staff. The breakfast were with minimal choices for vegan guest. We had to buy our own almond milk for tea or coffee. No fruits for the breakfast. Only they supplied soya for vegan guest. Timing was short for the breakfast 7 am till 9.30am. Rooms were good size and clean. Hotel was very quiet and busy as well. Location was very good for those who wants to visit town centre or walk around the river. They did not supplied cattle not coffee or tea in rooms. No water supplied. They can supply with extra payment which was expensive but you can buy from near by supermarket with a reasonable price. So we have to bring our coffee or tea and kettle with us. Breakfast rooms were good and clean. For three star I will give them between 4.5 stars. Hotel was near the railway station with easy access if any one wanted to travel to the Milan or any other city in Italy. Wifi was good and can use in rooms too with no connectivity problems. Value for money hotel.

The hotel is located a few hundred metres from Pavia railway station. The staff are friendly and will try their best to assist. Although there are specific arrival and exist times, luggage can be left at reception for later collection should it be necessary. The breakfast service is a self-service buffet 0730-0930. A small but excellent selection of croissants, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal and cakes, along with the obligatory coffee (and a small selection of tea sachets). The only thing that lets the hotel down is that the rooms, and the hotel in general, is a little dated and could do with a little TLC - it was probably a very nice hotel in it's day, but needs some work to the finishes, fixings and fittings at present.

Rooms are large enough. People are very kind and very helpful. It is in walking distance to Old City, Pavia cathedral and university. Breakfast was OK, not perfect. Hotel has private parking area (not free), you need to ask to use. Otherwise it will be difficult to find parking lot outside.
