Albergo Ristorante Umbria

Stumbled upon this gem during an emergency. My granddaughter was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Citta di Castello during a vacation from a wedding venue villa. We needed a hotel close to the hospital. Valentina and her family welcomed us and since we didn't know how long we'd have to be there, they accomodated us day by day, 5 days we spent there. Our room was small, but we were basically a walk in off the street, scared and upset about our granddaughter. This family run hotel became our family and home. We loved Citta di Castello and will return one day. BTW, the hospital was awesome to us and my granddaughter (9 years old).

2* Hotel with 3* Details such as the rich continental breakfast. The place is quiet enough, within the city center, although a nearby bar can make some noise during evening. The Hotel has a dependance in front of it, where you can be totally independent and enjoy some extra quietness. Note that there is NO air conditioning, which is not compulsory for 2* hotels indeed, but the provided fan is more than enough for rooms not exposed to the sun.

Average 2 star hotel in Città del Castello. My room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Food is good, especially breakfast. Unfortunately, wifi didn’t work great.
