Haven Littlesea Holiday Park

Our first caravan and first haven holiday. We were nervous due to reading some reviews but we needn't have been! Fantastic transport link-bus provided for park users. Very quick trip between weymouth beach and inside the park, very friendly drivers. We went during peak season in which it said online that it runs every half an hour. The service was actually only hourly so did get busy but a pleasant journey. Easy to find our caravan and simple check in process. Very lovely reception team always on. We had a lovely welcome and our 2 dogs were very much welcomed with open arms too, a huge relief for us. Our bronze package caravan was beautiful and imacculate, the pooches loved it too. Location great, lovely to enjoy an evening stroll around the park also. Great view of sea out the back. The mini supermarket and facilities were fab, we didnt use the entertainment due to having dogs but passed it many times. We ate in the mash and barrel one night, friendly staff, busy night so a little wait as to be expected but food was delicious and easy to order. We ate from Cooks one evening which was very disappointing. We ordered a meal to our caravan, after approx an hour to an hour and a half later and not receiving it we walked down to the takeaway resturant. I asked the server if I could collect while I was there to save them the trip of still delivering. He told me that they never received my order after confirming the number, but then proceeded to relay the contents of my order, which suggested to me that they had? He said he would make it up fresh which we appreciated. We got back to the caravan with our food, then within 15 minutes a delivery driver pulled up with our original order and informed us they had just found it and that it had been packed and waiting on the side for ages. He was very apologetic and we ended up with double. Our issue was easily resolved, but I just didnt appreciate the gentleman in the shop being dishonest about not receiving my order. Other small issue is that we smelt marijuana being smoked every day on the resort, this isnt a reflection of haven themselves, but the people who stayed there. Little bit distracting and not ideal when you want to open your windows due to staying during the summer heatwave. I would like to end on a positive however, we felt extremely safe on the park and from early evening on the hour and all through the night the security team drove past to check everybody was ok. This was re-assuring to know that staff were accessible if required. We enjoyed our stay so much that whilst leaving the park on the bus we had mutually decided we wanted to return and not long after getting home we had booked again and are looking forward to our next stay with high hopes. We booked a last minute break at Littlesea Haven, which meant we managed to get a gold caravan, it was very clean, well equipped and extra comfortable. The site itself seemed very modern and well maintained, lots of activities included but paid activities available too. The park is well staffed so there was minimal queuing for activities and minimal waiting time for drinks/snacks ordered to the table. The park exceeded our expectations of a Haven Mon-Fri break away with the family and would gladly return! Maybe once I get that Chocolate (Choco choco) song out my head for a bit 😀

Made a booking online and they changed the date after purchase, called a fair few times no one could help , on the phone for half an hour trying to change the date with someone who we thoughtcould finally help, tried to tell me off peak was extra so was on peak even with a degrade on our caravan, nope still couldn't help I've been on the phone for 30 minutes waiting dor head office to pick up now I've been cut off!! Most of my family visit here each year, that customs now gone, we've been trying to change this date for weeks now
