The heating unit in the room didn't work. When I told the reception, he didn't seem surprised. He said nothing he can do about it and offered me an extra blanket. Also you can hear every time someone closes a door in the hallway. A rather depressing place.

The bad reviews for this place are a complete mystery to me. This is a perfectly fine, simple, old-fashioned small-town hotel that doesn't pretend to be anything else. My room was very clean, the shower was strong and hot, and I loved the mini balcony with a view over the (not very noisy) main street. The lady at reception was very nice, and the restaurant/bar is an excellent place for breakfast. Plus, the rates are unbeatable. I'd stay here any time again.

WARNING: There is a racket thru the night with loud patrons yakking and doors slamming. The room we had was well worn and taps would not shut off. NOTE: The smoke alarm was covered up with a plastic bag presumably because people smoke in rooms or on the mini balcony. Rooms clean but this is hotel way overpriced.
