Popas La Cosma

A great place for a modest brake & food. The cabin is run by Cosma, an old man with lots of stories to tell and tricks to show (try to figure out "Alba Neagra cu snur"). He usually waits for travelers on a bench in front of the house. You can also try some local food here, like "cas", and also get a place to sleep. The prices are "leave how much you like" type of prices - there is no set price for anything, but when I asked how much should one give for a night and some food, he said "100 lei", which is 20 euros.

Unfortunately, this stop left us with a bitter taste. It could have been a funny meeting, but at the end of the stop we were told to leave as much as we thought for the two plates of cheese, tomatoes and bacon. Since there were 5 of us, we decided to leave 100 lei. Mr. Cosma told us that it was a bit small and to give something to his nephew as well. I wouldn't go back, in retrospect and the jokes/stories were a bit out of place, even for an elderly person.
