Very well placed hotel for the GR5 walk. Right on the GR5 path and next to the railway station. Rooms a bit small and outdated, but a very helpful host and a solid breakfast made the stay a good experience. Will come back if my path crosses Modane again. Restaurant only open on certain days, but there is a quite good "mum and dad" pizzaria very close (Pizza Presto).

Perfectly pleasant little hotel on the main street, our room overlooked the river which was probably nicer than the train station. Chosen for cheapness, pretty small but suitable for our one night stay. Comfortable bed, nice shower.

A great quirky hotel. The room layout is not to everyone's taste, but it is clean and comfortable. Fantastic view out of the window with river running below and mountains above. Great food in the bar and restaurant. Very central in town
