Tenuta delle Querce

On our way back from Rieti, we decided to stop for dinner and, searching on Google Maps, came across Tenuta della Quercia. Our initial reservation went unanswered, and we assumed the restaurant was closed. However, a few moments later, we received a call back and were confirmed as available: a sign of attentiveness that we were already pleased with. Welcome and Ambience Upon arrival, we were greeted by Carlo, one of the owners, who immediately put us at ease with a friendly, family atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, tidy, and well-decorated, conveying a sense of care and hospitality. Dinner - Appetizer: A platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a basket of freshly baked pizza bianca. A generous portion, enough for both of us, and of excellent quality. - First Course: On the house recommendation, we tried fresh, handmade tonnarelli, topped with pumpkin and crispy guanciale. An off-menu dish that turned out to be a true delight. - Second courses: I chose the lamb chops, served with arugula and cherry tomatoes, tender and well-cooked; my companion opted for a simple yet tasty grilled vegetable dish. - Dessert: We shared a homemade dessert, ending the meal on a sweet and authentic note. - Drinks: A bottle of sparkling water and a half-liter of house wine, served from a freshly opened bottle. We finished with a coffee and half a glass of grappa, for a total bill of €63, absolutely proportionate to the quality and quantity of the dishes. Service The waiter was friendly, kind, and always available. At the end of the evening, Alberto, the other owner, also showed up to check on our satisfaction: a gesture we greatly appreciated and which made the evening even more enjoyable. We were at Tenuta delle Querce yesterday and had a truly wonderful time! A special thanks to Valter, who immediately welcomed us with great kindness and helpfulness, making us feel at home. He recommended the daily specials and paid special attention to me, who am pregnant, which we greatly appreciated. We ate everything delicious, from the bruschetta to the fettuccine with pumpkin, which were truly extraordinary! The place is beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming. We will definitely be back, even though we're coming from Rome, because it's truly worth it. A sincere thank you again to Valter for his professionalism and kindness!

I discovered this wonderful place! An oasis of peace and serenity! Surrounded by greenery, with a large round pool, sun loungers available, tennis, volleyball, and excellent food! There are also rooms for sleeping if you wish. I highly recommend it.
