My daughter and I had the pleaser of staying at the Boma Countryhouse as our first stay in Italy. It is about 30 minutes from the center of Rome but well worth the drive or taxi ride. (staff did say you could also take the metro) It was a quiet and peaceful respite from the businesses of the city. We felt well cared for and so safe. The property is lovely as well as the staff. The restaurant is a must and every dish we had the privilege of trying was delicious. We hope to return one day maybe when it’s warm enough for a swim.

7 of us stayed in 3 rooms for a 2 night stay. This experience is reflected upon as being the highlight accommodations of our 10 adventure in Italy. The breakfast is fantastic and dinner did rival all other dinners we enjoyed during our travels. A special moment was provided when a member of the staff anointed one of our companions as “cream puff”, a title which is used today.😊

Pros: - Nice and clean rooms - Beautiful garden area - Nice little pool Cons: - garbage laying at the road on the way to the countryhouse. To be fair: That‘s nothing the owners are responsible for, but the city/community. Nevertheless it‘s something what is really annoying. - Restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. The suburb area around is not a place where you will enjoy to spend time. Means: If you arrive on a Sunday, you stay hungry. - Pool is closed on Sundays. Means: You are paying for it, but you are not allowed to use it. - uncomfortable beds - Absolutely poor WiFi with permanent disconnections
