Casa Mendilore - casa rural en Hondarribia

The most beautiful and idyllic place in the Basque Country. Casa Mendilore is truly a haven for relaxation and peace. Juan and Anabel provided exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. The food was outstanding—Juan bakes his own homemade bread and has experience working in Michelin-starred restaurants, so he truly understands great cuisine. The property is home to three ponies, and our children had the joy of riding Churro, guided by the wonderful Lucia. Our child formed such a strong bond with Lucia and the ponies that it became the highlight of every single day. There are also scenic hiking trails around the property, perfect for both walking and running. We highly recommend Casa Mendilore. It's incredibly child-friendly and simply breathtaking.

A wonderful getaway from the city hustle, noise, and so on. The service is excellent, the cuisine is professional and very tasty. I was satisfied with everything, especially the fact that you can visit this place with a child. Many nearby establishments with similar services do not allow children. Highly recommended! The owner is a wonderful person.

I have ZERO words to describe how incredibly perfect and wonderful Juan and Anabel's establishment is. Casa Mendilore is a home away from home. The dinner was one of the best I've ever had. The breakfasts are simple and well done. It is obvious that Juan and Anabel take much pride in their place and their business. I very much enjoyed meeting their family, talking about horses, meeting the ponies, sitting in the garden, and just being in a beautiful place. This is a place to unwind and connect with people, not to be on your phone or in a rush. San Seb. is 20 minutes by car and Hondarribia is only 10, we loved both. Just come here and enjoy.
