Durdle Door Hotel

I will preface that I booked this hotel the day before I arrived and it seems I got slim pickings as other photos and reviews indicate there are better rooms. And unfortunately, the price paid did not resemble the room received. The hotel is in a fantastic location (close to the coastal path) but I cannot endorse room 15 ( one of the double rooms). The WiFi doesn’t reach it, it has a broken shower door but water won’t leak onto the floor because there is little water pressure. There is mold in the bathroom and on the windows in the bedroom, chipped paint on the walls and the view from the window is of a workers ladder. However, the front staff were very accommodating and friendly and looked to see if they could move me as I needed WiFi for work but the three other rooms available seemed to be worse off. I appreciated their efforts.

We stayed here in July for the first time, and I couldn’t praise this hotel enough. The staff are very polite and friendly, rooms are very well furnished with tea and coffee making facilities, our en suite had both a bath and shower which was nice! Very clean and our room was cleaned & tidied every day, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have stayed in! All in all this place is a 10/10, we will 100% be visiting again, a lovely hotel within a 5 minute walk of the cove!

Lovely clean hotel with good sized rooms. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location with views across the countryside and down to the see. Would definitely visit again.
