A truly beautiful place where you can relax and catch your second wind. The food is tasty and the prices are fair considering the remote mountain location. However, there are a lot of people, and it would be great if there was some kind of canopy or shelter over the outdoor benches — when the sun is strong, it’s really hard to enjoy your meal in the heat. Sitting inside isn’t much of an option either, as it gets very stuffy and there's little air circulation. It might be a good idea to allow the windows to open for better ventilation. Shaded spots are quite limited.

Very nice hut after a long hike in the Tatras. Located at a lake, the views are stunning. The rooms were comfortable, we were in one for 4 people so with 2 bunk beds. One can book a bedding set for an extra 36 zl (pillow, blanket, bed sheets). There's a common kitchen with free hot water and a sink which you can use to wash your own things, and a charger for phones. The common room is cosy. There's also another spot with a charger and some board games. The food is good but nothing special (we were told about the "delicious" apple pie but we had a better one in Zakopane to be honest). The kitchen has some curious opening times/breaks, from 8am to 9pm with a break from 10-10:30am and 7-7:30pm. For early birds, one can order a breakfast to take away. Be prepared to queue at the kitchen to order your food but also at the bathrooms (2 toilets and 2 showers only). Another downside is the impossibility to contact the hut by phone (I tried several times) and overall it's quite expensive. And one needs to book and pay really in advance, like at least 4-5 months before (via their website). Good to know: There's wifi in the whole hut. There's warm water in the shower + shower gel. It's possible to pay by card for food. Overall a good stop for a night on the Tatras. I think it's better than the Morskie Oko hut which is way too crowded.
