Il Rifugio del Monaco

During our holiday we spent two nights at Il Rifugio del Monaco. Germana gave us a warm welcome and gave us a tour in and around the ancient church, in which the rooms are partly situated. Very interesting, we admire how they renovated and restored the buildings. The accommodation is very clean, everything you need is available.

We really enjoyed our stay here and wish it could have been longer! Comfortable rooms in a beautiful, historic setting, and just a 20 minute walk from the center of town. The owner gave us a great tour of the historic, medieval church on the property, which has some amazing frescos. Excellent breakfast, too!

Delightful place to stay. The Rifugio, which was part of the monastery, has been lovingly restored and tastefully decorated. We were even give a tour of the church and other buildings by the very kind owner. Excellent breakfast !
