Guesthouse makakakhiani

This was our favourite guesthouse along the mestia to ushguli hike. The family were very warm and friendly and the guesthouse was very clean and comfortable. We were given a huge and delicious dinner in the toasty warm kitchen as well as a lovely big breakfast with fresh honey from their own hives. Thanks to the lovely family for having us ! I highly recommend this guesthouse for having a more welcoming and warm feel compared to the more busier guest houses along the route.

I totally recommend this place! Lovely and kind owner who takes proper care of the guests. She even walked up on the main road to show us the way because it's a bit hidden. The homemade food was delicious. Very very good place to stay after the first day of hiking!

This place was our favorite place in the mestia to ushguli trek. She is the kindest lady and the absolute BEST chef. We have never been so impressed by food ever, compared to her cooking. What a nice person and a wonderful stay. Plus the shower is incredible.
