Hotel Sonnenhof, Bed & Breakfast & Appartements

We had a wonderful stay at this genuine family-run hotel, offering beautiful, clean, and spacious rooms. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the friendliness and helpfulness of the Hofbauer family, as well as the excellent location, makes it an ideal place to truly unwind. The surrounding area is stunning and offers a wide range of outdoor activities. From skiing and hiking to enjoying great food, a day trip to Innsbruck, or even a train journey to Bolzano, everything is easily possible.

We rented the 1 bd apartment and had a wonderful stay. The balcony and views were amazing. The unit was clean, well stocked in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and extra bedding was available if needed. Water was hot and the bathroom well laid out. The staff was wonderful - always welcoming and with ideas on what to do. We used public transit when we arrived and to get around all of Innsbruck. We found it easy, reliable, timely and never over crowded. The grocery store is in the heart of town and the restaurants in town were also very pleasant! Breakfast in the hotel was lovely - lots of options and very well presented. We would absolutely stay again.

From start to finish, the experience at Hotel Sonnenhof was nothing short of excellent. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with all the little details that make a stay truly enjoyable. From the cosy bedding to cleanliness and comfort, which made it feel like a home away from home. The hotel’s location with spectacular views of the vast fields and of the nearby mountains is an unmatched experience. It's quiet and truly serene and relaxing with fresh air and great scenery all around. Breakfast too, was a highlight; fresh, plentiful, and well presented with a variety of choices. The atmosphere at the breakfast buffet is calm, cosy and inviting. Bonus is that while the hotel is situated in the country side there are great bus and tram connections nearby and easily reachable by foot.. Waiting time for these transportations is between 5 to 10 minutes and from down town to mountain there is literally a root available to any destination the heart desires for affordable prices. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. It combines comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality in the best possible way. We look forward to returning!
