Super nice woman who runs it, it’s more of a big house where she lives in the middle floor and you stay in the top floor. But came outside season and she made me food in her priv kitchen for no extra change. Stayed there two days to rest as pilgrims and got ur stamp:)

A nightmare. As soon as you enter the house, the hallways reek of marijuana. The room smelled awful; at first, we thought it was musty, but after a few hours, it started to smell strongly of urine—so bad it made us gag. The bathroom was full of tiny spiders, as if they had a nest somewhere. We had a reservation for two nights, but we couldn't stay the second night; it was completely impossible. Knowing all this, the value for money is terrible; it's expensive for what you get. We absolutely do not recommend staying here.

I don't believe many of the reviews. I stayed for a week and everything was spotless. A very peaceful place to relax, and I loved Orio (the center is a 15-minute walk). I decided to stay at Amalur to attend the Springsteen concerts in San Sebastián because the city gets incredibly crowded for these kinds of events, and hotel prices are outrageous. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was fine (no hairdryer), and there's also a wardrobe for your clothes. They even change the towels daily, which I think is a bit excessive. There's a bus stop nearby (Anibarco Portua) for San Sebastián (lines UK09 and UK11); you'll need a "mugi" card, which you can buy at the Iturain tobacconist in Orio. 100% recommended, especially for families. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi isn't great and the mobile coverage is very poor (at least in my case, since I have Digi).
