Castro Hotel

Nice hotel and reception staff worked very hard. Good food although the dining room was lack lustre. In the middle of nowhere so captive audience , but was a comfortable stay on our tour and represented good value.

This place looks and feels like an old converted factory. I told the lady at reception the room was cold she just looked up and didn't acknowledge my complaint. Food in the restaurant (canteen) was awful, which was inedible. Very expensive in price for the room and food. What a let down for a great city Santiago.

AC not working, you can hear every noise in hotel (goodbye to sleep) the breakfast was just toast with ham (no continental breakfast) and two awful cakes from supermarket. The cleaning service was OK. Would not recommend.
