Lydersen Rorbuer Budget Hostel and Private Apartments

Me and my fiance steyed here for 2 nights in February. Rooms were super tidy and very cosy! With amazin view over fiord and lake or part of the sea. Sylwia was super informative, but we meet her only in next morning as they close reception at 3pm (in winter time). There were not so much other guest, so it feels a bit lonely, but we understand becouse of low season. Could be beter maintein, little more sofas in common places.

A genuinely terrible experience. Run, don’t walk away from this scam cosplaying as a 1 star “Rorbuer.” They don’t answer the phone. When asked why, the clerk said she didn’t have the phone. Useless. The clerk was more than useless. Helplessness with clinical precision. When asked where the jacuzzi is, she said “up the road.” When asked why she didn’t reply to Booking messages, it was just a hand wave and “oh they must have gone…” The messages must be with the phone. You must clean your own room. I did not see a check for my housecleaning services. This was not advertised online. The Roeber is just a barn. You can hear all the other ripped-off travelers breathing the walls are so thin. Horrible experience. Do not stay here. The clerk should go down the road. Maybe then she would find the jacuzzi and phone. To top it off, the barn is unsurprisingly dirty. The other guests must not have cleaned well enough. Shocker!

We had an amazing time at Lydersen. The staff were extremely welcoming, kind, and generous with their helping efforts. The venue is amazing with beautiful views of the fjord. The atmosphere is relaxed and very homely. The manager went the extra mile to facilitate jacuzzi for us which we appreciated. Would 100% recommend. ☺️
