I booked room for one day and checked in with my daughter 13th of October. However we wanted to stay one more day and booked and PAID for one more day via Booking.com. After payment, I asked receptionist that if he can see our payment and booking, he said he can see it and everything is fine. No more explanation came. A day later our door room was knocked aggresively like we were doing something illegal inside! My little daughter was very scared and she started crying!! I opened the door and tall, blonde, young woman said that our check out was hour ago! I said that it is impossible because I paid for one more day online. She was very angry and she didn't believe me and called reception. She got the answer and left the door without apologising. Your worker's behaviour was very disturbing and rude. It seems like your workers don't have enough coordination and connection. This was my first and last stay at Tallink Express Hotel and I will never recommend this hotel.

The location is the best part about this hotel. Not a pleasant accommodation experience at all (I have never left a bad hotel review until now) - soulless rooms, horrible fluorescent lighting, air conditioning that is controlled by the whole building so can not be adjusted in each individual room, rundown shower, unfriendly staff. And for 170€ p/night (without breakfast) it is terrible value for money. Don’t recommend.

Had a nice stay at Tallink Express Hotel — the location is excellent, just a short walk from the ferry terminal and Old Town Tallinn. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the standard amenities you’d expect. Breakfast was passable, nothing special, but overall a convenient and decent place to stay for a short visit.
