Pension Casa Garea

I like the rooms and the staff there was a minimart in the lobby and a bar/restaurant. This was a little troublesome to get to if you’re on the Camino as it’s on a major road and a bit off the path. I was surprised at the number of cars and traffic on the road if you’re sensitive to traffic, maybe think of another hotel to stay in. It is also very easy to hear your neighbors as the walls are very thin. I wear earplugs so it wasn’t a problem.

Beautiful environment, perfect place to take a rest day from the camino. Private room’s and nice beds. Good coffee and talks.

The rooms are super comfortable. There was a portable AC in my room and the bed was amazing. The road noise is there but not too bad with the windows closed. I got nearly 12 hours of sleep without interruption. Major downside is the lack of a cafe, you can get snacks/trail stuff or a sandwich from the bar/cafe. Best to eat beforehand if you want a real dinner. I enjoyed the quiet and locals atmosphere of the place. For the Camino on foot its maybe not the best, but its a great spot for the Camino by bike.
