Bank Ground Farm

Beautiful property, quiet, restful and the most stunning views across the lake. Kayaks and paddle boards available from the property to rent which was far nicer than joining the chaos across in Coniston! Lovely breakfast in the restaurant, would highly recommend.

We stayed over Easter! The views are incredible, cottage was cosy and loved having a fire every night. But the real highlight was the food, best meal we have ever had in the UK! Thanks Johnathan and Team :)

The most wonderful place on the planet! Such a privilege to be able to stay on a working farm within such glorious surroundings. The cottage was beautiful, clean and perfect for my needs. Jonathon, Shayla and the team were warm, kind and generous with their time and attention, everyone went over and above to make sure I had everything I needed. The food was consistently high quality (probably the best I’ve ever had actually). I was in Beckfoot self catering but the restaurant food was so good I never cooked!! I ditched the car and walked everyday to wherever I wanted to go, whether that was to enjoy art and nature, or a trek up and around Old Man Coniston! It was an educational and inspiring visit that gave me the reset I needed. Wonderful to be around a set of people and a place so grounded in values close to my own heart. I’m going back as soon as I can.
