Cazare La Cetate

Cannot recommend this place enough. Incredible location right at the heart of the interesting village of Mosna and its fortified church, peaceful garden with hammocks, beautifully furnished to a lovely finish, stocked with everything you could possibly need no matter the length of your stay (salt, pepper, weighing scales, pots and pans) and truly fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond and even built a ramp, assisted me up it AND found a shower stool for me to use after we told them I was a wheelchair user! We have been travelling for several weeks and up until now my friend has had to carry me everywhere for lack of accessible accommodation so this was a truly appreciated and kind gesture. This all while offering a truly affordable price. As I said, cannot rate higher. Though there are a fair few steps to get in and a gravelly driveway I was especially happy to fit my wheelchair into the toilet with space to transfer.

As we hiked the Via Transilvanica, spontaneously, we phoned the owner of this guesthouse, looking for shelter. We didn't sleep at the guesthouse but at the owners property. Right from the start, the women welcomed us and was the warmest soul we have met in a long time. We actually intended to sleep in our tent, but the farm cat was also a little bit too interested in our tent. So we were able to move to the couch in a large living room. Super fair price and lovely people. They are a very nice couple, we'd love to come back and want to thank you for all :)

We spent a fantastic week at this gorgeouse house. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in this serene surroundings. Amazing localy sourced food coupled with gorgeous surroundings and fast internet were the perfect set up for an alternative work week. Could not recommend enough!!
