Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club

Stayed with my two adult children, got a bed each which was a bonus. On arrival, the room was spotless, with a selection of tea, coffee and a few shortbread biscuits next to the kettle. Fabulous views to hills. Room was nice and warm, also had a spare electric heater. Shower was lovely and warm too. The spa facilities were fab, what a lovely way to spend a cold January afternoon 😀. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, pub grub was generously portioned, and my daughter was pleased with the seperate vegan menu. It's not the ritz, some bits of the hotel are in the process of being updated, but their price reflects this. We will definitely come back to the hotel.

Had booked for two night stay but only stayed for two hours. The condition of this hotel is very tired and that's being kind. Ceiling has fallen in within gym area, no hot water in leisure centre, no hot water in rooms, carpets woren out on stairs, dangerous to use, staff aware but unable to do anything about the state of facilities. When I spoke to reception team told it would take at least an hour to get hot water from boiler to work. First impressions letters missing from signage for hotel and then things continued to get worse. Three days later still awaiting refund. Nightmare of a hotel. Needs a lot of investment and work before its fit for another season.

Booking through Booking.com was smooth and easy. The room was very clean and the atmosphere was good, which made the stay quite comfortable. The main reason I am giving three stars is that the noise from the road was quite loud, even with the windows closed, which affected my sleep. They provide both breakfast and dinner( not included in the room rent, If we want, we have pay extra ), and there is a bar on-site.
