Penrose Campsite

We loved this campsite. Lovely spacious fields, plenty of room for our large family in our various tents, and a good distance from other campers. 15 mins walk from seaside village Porthleven, and it's neighbouring beach. Also near Helston for shopping, and plenty of different beaches a short drive away. The bathroom facilities were always very clean, and the staff were always on fixing any issues. The staff were also really friendly and relaxed. Very affordable. Overall, best campsite we've ever been to. Highly recommend.

This campsite is beautiful. Quiet, spacious with clean basic facilities. Exactly what it needs to be. Great starry nights to be seen when the weather's right. Showers are hot, staff lovely and about 15 minutes walk into the centre of Porthleven with many restaurants and pubs. Alternatively a few minute walk to quiet beaches and forest walks. Highly recommended for a tranquil camp.

Amazing location great facilities and well run. For camper vans and tents the veiw is incredible and a shirt walk to Porthleven. Check out the market and the ship Inn.
