Camping du Lac d'Estaing

This is a camping site, it’s not a hotel as marked on google. It is well positioned with surfaces ranging from 100 to 150 square meters with electric outlets, that are not delimited by vegetation. There are two buildings with showers toilets, sinks to wash dishes and washing machines. There was no toilet paper or toilet seats or soap so make sure you have you own. 14 euros for a tent place a night is a good price you can’t have everything at this price. There are 2 main hiking routes that leave from the Estaing lake and which then split into multiple ones. You need a few days to explore the area but is well worthed. The bar restaurant next to the camping is a good place to eat with local produce and recepies.

Our stay at the camping site in the heart of the Pyrenees was a wonderful experience. The natural beauty surrounding us, with lush forests and towering mountains, was breathtaking. The staff were welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The campsite was clean and well-organized, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities were spotless and the grounds were well-maintained. The layout was thoughtful, giving each pitch enough space and privacy. This campsite in the Pyrenees is a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy nature in a comfortable setting. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

We didn't enjoy our stay here at all. The location is amazing but the site is really crowded with very little space between pitches. There are not enough showers and toilets and the showers are awful - barely any water pressure and either way too hot or cold. The site is very run down, the sanitary block had broken tiles, doors which didn't lock and was dirty. It was cheap but we won't be back. Shame as the location is breath taking.
